Memorable Learning Experience

2 years ago I became involved in the creation of an online grading program, LiveGrades. As a pilot project, Harrison County Schools partnered with CityNet to provide our teachers with online grading system that interfaced with WVEIS, webpages for all teachers and schools, and an complete online county directory. As lead teacher on this, I've worked closely with the software engineers, and many teachers to help with the development of this resource . This is the second year that100% of our faculty has used the program and it has been a great tool. The experience of working closely with the software engineers, and supplying input from teachers of all levels was something I will never regret.

  1. We have a program we use that is similar to yours. It is called GradeQuick. It took us a while to get all of the teachers on board. It is nice to see you have 100% support from your teachers. As a teacher using GradeQuick I find it helps the students stay up to date on their assignments and keeps the parents well informed about their childs grades. It has cut down on outstanding assignments that the students try to get made up before the end of the semester. A lot of times it is because of the urging of the parents. As a parent who had a child come through the school system I really liked having a way to check on his progress and harass him when he was behind on his assignments.
